The songs have been sung. The dances have been danced. And the nuns have secretly sabotaged the Nazis' cars. And now it's time to pass judgment.

NBC's The Sound of Music Live! starring American Idol alum Carrie Underwood and True Blood star Stephen Moyer as Maria Von Trapp and Captain Georg Von Trapp has been a highly anticipated event, mostly for the fact that it was not only a live performance of the original Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, but that Underwood was chosen in the main role. Some fans were outraged and the choice, while others were excited to see her take on the part.

So how did you think Underwood did as Maria? We've seen her pipes dominate the country music charts and win us over on American Idol, but taking on an iconic role is a different animal. Costar Stephen Borle (Smash) told us that not only was he very confident that Carrie would pull it off, he said she would put Broadway stars to shame tonight!

"Carrie came to rehearsal completely memorized, which put all of the theater veterans to shame!" Borle gushed to us. "Last week, I finally finished memorizing, but she was there, day one, ready to go. And she's got that thing, that thing that makes her Carrie Underwood, which I think is going to work very well for Maria. I think the TV screen is going to eat her up and she's going to be lovely."

We're anxious to hear if you guys agree with Borle or if you think Underwood was a miscast. How do you think the musical went overall? Head on down to the comments and tell us what you think! Then check back tomorrow for a recap with our favorite moments, GIF's and videos!
