Have you been missing a certain Ukrainian hunk on Dancing With the Stars week in and week out? You're in luck, because Maksim Chmerkovskiy is making a big return to the ballroom!
On Monday's episode (Nov. 18), Maks will appear as a guest judge for the first time alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. That episodes also marks the first ever plugged/unplugged night on the ABC reality competition, meaning that the couples must perform to two different versions of the same song.
In the first round of competition, the couples will perform either a Jazz, Paso Doble, Cha Cha or Tango routine to an original version of their song. In round two, the contestants will perform a Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango or Rumbaroutine to an acoustic or "unplugged" version of that same song.
This will be Maxs second time back on DWTS since exiting the series after season 15. He appeared in season 16 to dance in a number with his brother Val Chmerkovskiy.
"I've been a Pro dancer on the show for about seven years now and am eager to explore other opportunities that have been made possible because of Dancing with the Stars, " he said about his departure. "I'm going to take this time to dive into producing and acting, while fulfilling my sponsorship obligations. A big thank you to all of my fans for your never-ending support. I also want to thank the entire cast and production of Dancing with the Stars."
Musical guests set to appear on Monday's episode include Kerli, who will perform a rendition of Fall Out Boy's "My Song Knows (Light em up)" and YouTube artist Noah Guthrie, who will be singing his popular cover of "Sexy & I Know It."
Only five couples are left on DWTS! Who do you think will take home the big win? Our money is still on Corbin Blue and Karina Smirnoff. Agree? Disagree?
