Julia Roberts gave awards watchers something to talk about all right.
Appearing at the BAFTA Britannia Awards in L.A. Saturday night, the 46-year-old actress couldn't resist being wheeled out onstage barefoot to fete her old pal George Clooney with one of the evening's most prestigious honors.
Roberts looked absolutely radiant as she showed off her 10 little pedicured piggies replete with black nail polish to match the black mini dress she was wearing.
The Pretty Woman star then stood up, showing off her signature long legs, and took to the podium where she delivered a funny shtick poking fun at her friendship with her Ocean's Eleven costar.
"I'm normally in my second REM cycle by now so let's get this done," Roberts quipped before presenting Clooney with the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film.
No word whether the barefoot bit in the wheelchair was a private joke the two shared or if Julia was in a super-relaxed mood and just wanted to ditch her heels.
Either way, it's not the first time we've seen her quirky side come out.
Roberts once turned up at the 1999 premiere of her rom-com Notting Hill with a nice tuft of underarm hair.
