Girls creator Lena Dunham may be Vogue's next cover model.
The 27-year-old actress is reportedly high on Anna Wintour's chic list: According to Radar Online, the famed editor is hoping that Dunham's appearance in a major feature for the magazine might attract readers from a younger demographic.
A source suggests that Wintour will even hold a private dinner party for the Girls star as part of the wooing process.
Dunham is best known for creating and starring in the hit HBO series, in which she plays Hannah Horvath, a twenty-something perennially questioning her life choices.
The actress is celebrated for being funny, smart and proud of her figure—although her body type does break the mold for Vogue, which has featured few curvy celebrities on its covers. In 2012, Adele appeared on the magazine in a stunning from-waist-up cover photo (her British Vogue cover was criticized for being cropped close to face).
