Julianne Moore may still be in negotiations to join the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay films, but one deal that the actress just officially wrapped up is her spokesmodeling gig for Reed Krakoff.
The star will be the face of the brand's fall 2013 campaign. She has already shot an ad with the New York-based designer, who took the photos himself.
The simplistic images feature the actress in a printed tank leaning over the camera, fiery strands covering her face. The low-key picture is in stark contrast to some of the more risqué fashion ads to come out recently.
At 52, Julianne is no stranger to fronting major brands. In recent years she has been the face of L'Oréal, Bulgari and Talbots.
Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, Krakoff said he selected Julianne specifically for more than just her looks, citing Moore's "combination of personal strength, confidence and a subtle sensuality, which is strongly reflected in the imagery."
In April, Reed announced he would be leaving as CEO and president of Coach next year to continue with his solo label. He had been with the company for almost two decades.
The campaign will be released in September just as New York Fashion Week is in full swing. No doubt, Julianne will be sitting first row for several shows.
