The Oscars draw some of the most glamorous stars in the world, and while most manage to stun us with some of the most amazing red carpet looks we'll see all year, there's also always a handful of gals who take a sartorial misstep at the annual awards show.

Take Uma Thurman, whose Christian Lacroix gown at the 2004 Academy Awards had many comparing her to a Swiss Miss, or Icelandic singer Björk, who ruffled many a feather at the 2001 show with her frothy swan gown. And while we weren't surprised the quirky singer hit the red carpet in an outrageous frock, we were a bit stunned when the usually flawless Gwyneth Paltrow turned up at the 2002 Oscars in a look that was more gothic than glam.

Who do you think had the biggest Academy Awards fashion fail?
