There's no doubt Kate Middleton's had a far-reaching style influence on the public ever since joining the royal family. But what can we expect now that the duchess is expecting?

Well, if yesterday is any indication, her sartorial sway is just as strong as ever. The royal mom-to-be made her second official appearance of the year on Tuesday in a chic MaxMara wrap dress, and the baby bump-friendly frock sold out in a matter of hours!

Given the Kate effect and the fact that the gray patterned frock was on sale for $195, it's no surprise fashionistas snapped up the flattering MaxMara design as soon as they saw it. And with Middleton's baby bump barely showing, we're sure gals with and without a bun in the oven are still looking to the brunette beauty as a style icon.

So, what to do if you weren't one of the lucky royal watchers who managed to order Middleton's MaxMara? Many labels reissue popular items worn by celebrities, so you might still have a chance to get your hands on it. Issa, for instance, churned out the Duchess' iconic blue engagement dress twice—including a maternity version—and it's quite possible MaxMara will do the same.

If all else fails, mark your calenders for Middleton's next official public engagement on March 5, when she's sure to step out in another covetable outfit!
