Celebrity manicurist Lisa Logan is the woman responsible for Beyoncé's perfectly polished trademark almond-shaped nails, and today she took a break from Bey's busy schedule (Inauguration Day and the Super Bowl were pretty major events), and lent her talents to New York Fashion Week for the very first time.
Logan led the manicure efforts backstage for Nicholas K.'s opening show at Lincoln Center this morning and designed an edgy talon-inspired look featuring moody shades of black, olive green and gray Red Carpet Manicure gel polish (Black Stretch Limo, Diva in Disguise and Always Slate Never Early, respectively) dipped in dazzling glitter.
"I wanted to create a very organic, edgy look that still looked rich and true to the collection. It's almost as if the nails were dipped in nature," she exclusively tells E! News of her creative inspiration.
The earthy-glam design feels fresh for fall 2013, and we can't wait to see what else New York Fashion Week has in store for us!
