Lance Armstrong's Oprah Interview: Livestrong, Betsy Andreu Are "Disappointed" in Disgraced Cyclist's Confession

Lance Armstrong's confessional interview with Oprah Winfrey was too little, too late for some.

Betsy Andreu, who was one of the first to publicly condemn the athlete for doping, told Anderson Cooper she was "furious" after seeing Thursday's interview. The Livestrong Foundation also said in a statement they were "disappointed" in their founder and former chairman.

5 things we learned about Lance from his interview

Andreu said her husband Frankie Andreu's former teammate "owed it" to their family to truly come clean about his cheating past. And clearly, she was not satisfied with his brief apology.

The Livestrong Foundation said in response to the interview, however, that even "in the wake of our disappointment, we also express our gratitude to Lance as a survivor for the drive, devotion and spirit he brought to serving cancer patients and the entire cancer community."

"Lance is no longer on the Foundation's board," the statement continues. "But he is our founder and we will always be grateful to him for creating and helping to build a Foundation that has served millions struggling with cancer."

The second part of Armstrong's interview airs Friday at 9 p.m. on OWN.
