Thank you Gilles Marini for being a DWTS all-star.

The Sex and the City hunk and Peta Murgatroyd wowed judges—and us—by performing a near perfect routine Monday, and Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani were right on their heels.

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy came in last...but were they discouraged?

"Ii's hard work. It looks like it's fun and easy, but it's not so easy to do the Charelston," Alley told us. "I haven't found a dance that is easy to do yet."

Just look at that cartwheel! "I wanted to do the cartwheel, I saw it on YouTube," added Kirstie. "I was laughing, I wasn't crying. It put me into hysterics of fear."

On to the top performers of the night:

"The routne was perfect, there was one little—it wasn't even an error—that's all I'm focused on right now," said Melissa. "I'm not fearless. I have so much trust in [Tony], doing these lifts, it goes wrong in practice...I know he's got my back, that's why we can do what we do."

"I think that's as about as dangerous as we're going to get," Toyn said about their routine tonight. "If she had missed my waist, she would have gone face-first into the ground."

Yeah, yeah, but through all of this, who had a broken heel and still danced through the night?

"We danced, we were happy—she has a broken heel and danced the whole dance on a broken heel," Derek Hough raved about his partner Shawn Johnson. Don't think it's an actual heel, heel though (we're talking about her shoe).

"This part of the heel is broken in half," the duo showed E! News.

Will one of the above favorites be going home tomorrow? Come back here to get the scoop straight from the DWTS all-stars!
