Bachelorette Ashley's Bentley Obsession: I Probably Would Have Done the Same, Says Melissa Rycroft
Poor Ashley Hebert.
Watching herself pine for Bentley Williams on The Bachelorette can't be easy.
Being played on national television? It's something former Bachelor winner (then loser) Melissa Rycroft certainly knows a thing or two about...
Bachelor Pad Host Melissa Rycroft Strickland Is a Mommy!
Way to make lemonade out of lemons.
Melissa Rycroft Strickland and hubby Tye have welcomed their first child together, daughter Ava Grace, E! News confirmed Wednesday.
The 6-pound, 3-ounce bundle of joy was born this afternoon at a Dallas hospital, according to the reality TV star's rep, who adds that mommy and baby are "both resting comfortably."
"Our lives have changed so much in the last two years and today we've been blessed with the best change ever, our beautiful baby girl," says Melissa.
The Bachelor dumpee turned TV correspondent, Dancing With the Stars finalist and Bachelor Pad host swapped vows with Strickland on Dec. 12, 2009. We wish the family of three all the happiness in the world.
It's Gonna Be a Girl for Melissa Rycroft!
Melissa Rycroft: Dancing With Child!
Yeah, yeah, we know it's a blessed and happy moment and is not at all about this, but…suck it, Jason Mesnick. Melissa Rycroft wins. Again.
The once-scorned, now blissfully wedded Bachelor babe announced this morning (like any good self-publicizing reality alum, on several platforms) that she is expecting her first child with insurance agent hubby Tye Strickland.
"Apparently Tye and I wanted to see how many life-changing events we could fit into one calendar year. From getting engaged, married, new job, and we are now pregnant," the sometime Good Morning America correspondent told (naturally) GMA.
Lawrence Taylor's DWTS Pals: "Shocked" By Rape Arrest
Lawrence Taylor's Dancing With the Stars pals say the man they see on the news today is nothing like the guy they got to know on the dancefloor.
If there's one word to describe their reactions to the Football Hall of Famer's arrest earlier this week for the alleged rape of a 15-year-old runaway, it's shock…
Top 9 Reality Stars We're So Sick of Seeing
Don't get us wrong, here. We love reality television. It's our thing. We dig the love triangles on The Hills, the fights and fist pumps on the Jersey Shore, and how Jon and Kate Gosselin struggled to raise eight kids.
But you have to draw the line somewhere, and when the "stars" of reality-based game shows and docudramas or whatever start acting like actual celebrities? And showing up to every red carpet and on every other show we watch?
Enough with you. Shoo.
We're all Snooki'd out, and now we'd like our real celebrities back. Can you help?
Check out our list of the Top 9 Reality Stars We're So Sick Of, and tell us in the comments who No. 10 should be!
UPDATE!
Jason Mesnick a Bachelor No More!
Do you hear that? It's ABC celebrating—Jason Mesnick didn't change his mind again!
The flip-flopping former Bachelor has married his winner second-banana soul mate, Molly Malaney, in a made-for-TV ceremony, E! News has confirmed.
The reality romantics swapped vows shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday as cameras rolled in the rain at the the Terranea Resort in coastal Los Angeles suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes.
Former Bachelorettes Trista Sutter and Jillian Harris, along with their respective rose-recipients, Ryan Sutter and Ed Swiderski, witnessed the picture-perfect nuptials. Jason's son, Ty, who played a big role on The Bachelor, was also among the 300 attendees. Needless to say, Mesnick's first choice and former fiancée, Melissa Rycroft, and new husband Tye Strickland didn't make an appearance.
EXCLUSIVE!
Kelly Osbourne: Maybe She Should Cohost DWTS!
Brooke Burke, Melissa Rycroft and Vanessa Minnillo may be the leading ladies in the running to replace Samantha Harris on Dancing With the Stars, but has anyone thought of Kelly Osbourne?
"I think Kelly would be good because she's amazing," Melissa Joan Hart beamed to us at the Get Lucky for Lupus charity poker tournament at L.A.'s Andaz hotel. "She's got a great personality, she's so genuine, she's so real, she's so heartfelt. She loves to be on the show, and everyone loves seeing her on the show. She'd be perfect."
We couldn't agree more, but some DWTS-ers are echoing what former contestant Shannon Elizabeth told us the other day...
