Lindsay Lohan Rips Rosie O'Donnell: "I Know I'm Great" for Elizabeth Taylor Role

Lindsay Lohan is ready for another comeback, and she doesn't care what the haters think.

Critics—most notably Rosie O'Donnell—have questioned her ability to portray the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime TV biopic.

Lohan lashed back at O'Donnell exclusively to E! News yesterday, but she wasn't quite finished speaking her mind on the subject.

"It's funny that someone you don't know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing," she told Access Hollywood Tuesday night at Star magazine's All Hollywood event. "You know, I did one of my first interviews with [Rosie] when I was little. I was so excited."

So what would Lindsay like to say to her detractor?

"I don't think I need to tell her anything," the 25-year-old starlet said. "I know that I'm great. I know that I know Liz Taylor very well, and I share the same makeup artist and the same hair stylist. We've worked with a lot of the same people."

For her part, the actress feels "lucky to be able to do this role" and wants "to honor [Elizabeth] the way that she should be honored because she helped a lot of people in her life."

As for Lindsay's onscreen love interest? She told Access she has someone in mind to play Richard Burton, but she doesn't want to jinx it.

When one reporter suggested Gerard Butler for the role, Lindsay mused, "I don't know if he would do that, but he actually does remind me of [Richard] a lot."

For the time being, however, Lindsay's focused on her guest role on Glee. "I just got my lines tonight before I came here, actually for tomorrow," she said Tuesday. "I'm kind of nervous, but tomorrow should be a fun shoot."

"It was fun the first day," she added. "Everyone there seems really nice. I feel really lucky because I've worked with a lot of people that are working on the show when I did Bobby."
