She may be a style icon, but even Beyoncé is capable of flaunting a few looks that are not exactly timeless.

With nearly three decades in the music business, the pop legend has worn more outfits in the spotlight than we'd volunteer to count. Having matured from a teenage Destiny's Child into a bonafide "grown woman" in the public eye, the 34-year-old has navigated her way through more than a few fashion phases, from the coordinated belly-baring of her late '90s girl group to the preppy and often over-accessorized ensembles typical of the early 2000s. It seems even a 2016 CFDA Style Icon needs some time to sort out her style identity.

Compared to the avant-garde, haute couture look the "Formation" songstress has come to embody in the last six years, Queen Bey's earliest ensembles seem like they're being worn by someone else entirely when watching them on YouTube in 2016.

Since Beyoncé was just honored with a career-topping 11 nominations for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, it seems only fitting that we rewind the tapes and go back to the beginning styles of Bey.

Whether the results of unflattering trends, over-the-top themes or just unexplainable fashion faux pas, here's a look at ten past music video outfits we doubt Beyoncé would ever wear today.

Everything about this look reminds us that even Beyoncé had to start somewhere. Gone are the "Say My Name" days of orange bikini tops, matchy-matchy cargo pants and overly plucked eyebrows.

For her first single as a solo artist, the songstress captivated audiences with a sultry track about her "baby boy," complete with this mustard halter military-inspired jumpsuit and hoop earrings large enough to fit our hands through.

Before getting into her "Freakum Dress," Beyoncé surveyed her options while standing comfortably in this patterned hoodie.

This "Bootylicious" outfit will live forever in the pop culture annals, but we doubt even that level of fame would ever be enough for Bey to put it on again.

Beyoncé was too busy paying "Bills, Bills, Bills" to pick just one accessory.

She channeled a coordinating cowboy for this "Bug A Boo" look.

While Bey was still part of a trio, she sang about being a "Survivor" with a very literate ensemble to match. All three of the women sported camouflage patterned-outfits, but it's this bandana and bikini top combo that truly takes the cake.

The younger star obviously had a penchant for camo. Years later, she returned to the print in "Ring The Alarm," only this time with a zip-up hoodie dress and heeled lace-up ankle boots.

The Pink Panther-embroidered jeans don't really seem like an obvious choice for the singer today.

Between the zip-up and the hair flip, this look was anything but "Irreplaceable."
