They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
And that certainly seems to be the case with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter! The singer's 4-year-old daughter is starting to look more and more like her famous mama, and it seems little Princess Blue is starting to act like Queen Bey, too.
Case in point? Blue obviously knows how to work the camera, but much like Bey, she likes to be in charge of the creative process that follows the initial snap, too! Solange Knowles Instagrammed an adorable picture of her niece wearing a hot pink outfit and Ray-Ban wayfarers. As #ProudAuntie Solange noted, Blue "does her OWN photo edits/selections...as she should."
Beyoncé's been known to try and control her public image, too (in case you forgot, her publicist asked Buzzfeed to remove some "unflattering" photos taken during her 2013 Super Bowl halftime show). Nothing wrong with that! Perhaps just like mom, Blue is simply ensuring that she's seen in her best light (even if they all look flawless to the rest of us).
Speaking of which, Blue is quite the fashion-forward young lady. She seems to be a big fan of pink, flowers and hair bows.
Blue isn't one of those fashionistas who takes herself too seriously, though...
Like Bey, she can be quite silly.
She can also be tough, if the situation calls for it.
And Blue also counts members of the Martin family as close friends, much like her parents. Jay Z and Bey are good friends with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, and Blue is pals with the former couple's kids Moses Martin and Apple Martin.
And last, but not least, it seems that Blue is a true entertainer just like Bey! Not only was she A-OK in her dad's arms onstage presenting Beyoncé with the Vanguard Award at the 2014 MTV VMAs, but she also showed off some serious dance moves to mama's music in the audience!
The mother-daughter similarities are striking... Maybe the world will luck out and Blue will follow in her mama's famous footsteps someday as a singer/dancer/actress/all-around superhuman.
