After Kendall Jenner closed the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show—and thus solidified her supermodel status—we knew Karl Lagerfeld really liked her. But now that Chanel's mastermind is allowing Kendall to cozy up to his beloved Choupette, it's clear that he absolutely loves her.
Because nobody gets close to Mr. Lagerfeld's prized feline unless they're at the top of his nice list, which—newsflash—Kendall definitely is (for further proof, see her ample Chanel runway cameos or Lagerfeld campaigns). The 19-year-old cozied up to the famous feline for Vogue's coveted September issue, giving the camera a hypnotic stare beneath soft curled bangs (not to worry, they're faux).
Swathed in a structured black buttoned coat with delicate lace trim and a tailored skirt to match, Kendall strokes Choupette's luxurious snow-white coat in the snapshot, making for a relaxed-yet-luxe effect. Based on this pic alone, it's unclear who would win in a pose-off, since both Kendall and Choupette proving they've got top-notch modeling chops.
Ms. Jenner isn't Choupette's first high-profile friend, or even her first supermodel co-star. Nope, that would Gisele Bundchen, whom she shared cover space with in Vogue Brasil back in December. But don't think this haute kitty is intimidated by appearing alongside such beauties, as she's nabbed her own independent photo shoots in the past including a solo holiday campaign for Shu Uemura.
But even though Kendall and Choupette achieve a purr-fect harmony within the glossy's pages, they've still got nothing on reigning cover girl Beyoncé. Meow-za!
