Last month, Gayle King boldly revealed her weight to thousands of followers on social media and explained that she was working on taking control of her body again through Weight Watchers.

In the first week alone, she lost a whopping 4 lbs., but it appears things have slowed a bit for Oprah Winfrey's BFF in the last few weeks.

King took to Instagram to reveal her weight again and was a bit disheartened by the results. "So bummed only lost HALF A POUND with NO cheating on @weightwatchers ... Sticking with it tho..." she captioned the picture. "Also bummed smudged new pedicure after letting them dry so well aware toes jacked up going back to salon today.. Hate when that happens...." LOL! We feel you, girl.

Despite only dropping a half a pound in recent weeks, King should still be excited over the fact that she's lost a total of 8 lbs. since starting the process. She began the program at an original weight of 184.5 lbs. and is currently down to 176.5!

Meanwhile, King isn't the only one involved in Weight Watchers...Winfrey also has a stake in the program—literally!

Earlier this week, the TV personality revealed she invested $40 million into the company for a 10% stake. In a day, stock prices skyrocketed and Winfrey earned a whopping $70 million.

Winfrey joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday to chat a bit more about her big news. "Weight Watchers called me in like mid-July," she said. "We had our first meeting in August and they said, 'We would like you to come onboard our program and do what you do: self-empowerment, self-enrichment. We think that you can bring another level to us for Weight Watchers.' I said, 'I can't do it unless I actually go with the program. First of all, I've never endorsed anything. I've never been a spokesperson for anybody. So, I will have to do the program myself to see if I actually like those points, because I've been resistant to points.'"

Turns out, she does like it!

"As of today, since Aug. 12, I have lost 15 pounds," she revealed to DeGeneres. "But I am excited about Weight Watchers being able to bring a healthier more holistic approach for everybody."
