Kim Kardashian fully supports her stepfather Bruce Jenner as he transitions to life as a woman. During Friday's interview with Diane Sawyer, Jenner said Kardashian was the "most accepting" of his transition.
The Olympian's stepdaughter shared her feelings in an exclusive interview with NBC's Today Monday. "I'm really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it. And that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness," Kim, 34, said in a pre-taped segment. "That's what life is about."
Speaking to Matt Lauer, the star of E!'s Keeping Up the Kardashians continued, "I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself. I know it's not something that you or I could really fully understand, but I don't even think we have to. As long as he is happy, and he wants to live his life, however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy. And I support him 100 percent."
(Bruce advised Sayer that in the context of Friday's interview, he should still be referred to by the pronouns "he" and "him." At this time, Bruce has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)
