Teresa Giudice is being forced to figure out how to parent without her husband, Joe Giudice, as he completes his 41-month prison sentence.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star sat down with E! News and revealed that her eldest daughter, Gia, 14, has a new boyfriend. Teresa admits new experience has been a little difficult without Joe.
"The whole boyfriend thing," Teresa sighed. "It's just driving me a little nuts. That's the part I'm not ready for. I wish my husband was home for that because I need him. I can't do it by myself."
She continued, "You need two parents. You need one to be stricter than the other parent. I'm going through all that right now. Thank God she's a great kid. I talk to her constantly. She tells me everything. Joe is constantly emailing her, and we see him every week. And I pray to God so, I think that's really important, too."
Teresa also gave us an update on Joe—who started his prison sentence in March after pleading guilty to fraud—and informed us that he's been doing OK.
"He's very strong-minded," she said. "You have no choice, you just have to go with it. It's great because a lot of people do want to go see him and visit him, which is going to make the time go by faster."
The mother-of-four has also been sure to keep her own head above water, too, taking up yoga for an outlet.
"I'm very zen. I'm very calm," she said of the changes she's felt since starting up the practice. "I don't let very many things get to me."
