Not content with just poking fun at Millennials this fall on their new comedy The Great Indoors, CBS is doubling down on their Millennial fever by putting an entire team of them to the test on the network's newest season of Survivor.
The just-announced cast of the long-running reality series' 33rd season (!!) includes a team of 10 Millennials who will compete against a team of 10 Gen. X-ers in a generational battle for the ages titled—you guessed it—Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen. X. Facing off in Fiji, the two teams will fight to prove their generation has what it takes to outwit, outplay, and outlast the other. Will the Millennials, who CBS describes as "the largest living generational group and most diverse in U.S. history" generation in history, survive on the island without their beloved technology? (CBS' question, not ours.) And will the Gen. X-ers, those hard-working individuals who bridge the gap between the Baby Boomers and the tech-obsessed Millennials, be able to see past their preconceived notions and bond with the youngsters? (Something tells us the 33-year-old in the tribe won't have that problem. Also, 33 is Gen. X?!)
Without further ado, let's meet our new tribes.
