Kim Richards may be OK letting the cameras follow her life on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the reality star says her fans have been giving her an extra hard time lately.

In her sit-down with Dr. Phil, the former child actress opens up about the criticism she faces on a daily basis on social media from those who've come to know her through the popular Bravo series.

"I'm a very strong person and I have been sober. I haven't been working a program," she tells the daytime talk show host, choking back tears.

"Living through a season on a show, sometimes it's hard to just get through it. The fans are really hard on me."

Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel shortly after the final episode of season seven aired.

She further explained how she dealt with the fans' reactions to the final airing of the tumultuous reunion show.

"I went on Twitter first to kind of see what people were saying and it was just horrible," she shared, adding that people were calling her a "ho" and "a liar."

"[They said] we know you're drinking. You are a drunk. Calling me all kinds of names and I am an alcoholic."

Multiple reports confirm that Richards has checked into rehab since taping her interview with Dr. Phil.

Back in December 2011, Kim checked into an undisclosed treatment facility to address her issues with substance abuse.

More than one month later, her sister and Housewives co-star Kyle Richards confirmed that her sibling was getting treatment.
