Like mother, like daughter!

Looks like the apple didn't fall far from the tree in the case of Kate Hudson. The proof? In a new Almay Mother's Day–themed campaign video that Hudson shot alongside her age-defying mom Goldie Hawn, we can definitely see where the beauty brand ambassador gets her gorgeous good looks.

And that's not all the stunning mother-daughter duo shares. When it comes to their first makeup memories, both blond beauties recall looking to their moms for a little inspiration.

"I used to watch my mom put her lipstick on," Hawn reminisces. "It was a beautiful red lipstick and she was so beautiful and that sort of informed the way I practiced to put lipstick on when I was young."

Can't we all relate to studying our mothers' beauty routines and sneaking products out of her makeup bag? But Hudson took a slightly bolder approach, asking Hawn's Swing Shift makeup artist to also do her makeup. Did we mention that she was only 3 years old?

"She had such beautiful makeup on," Hudson gushed. "Red lips, and these beautiful sort of lines on her eyes and she had this incredible makeup artist."

Looks like Hudson had an eye for beauty even as a tiny tot!
