Believe it or not, Justin Timberlake's got no problem with Kanye West.
Appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Monday night, the pop star sounded off on the subtle slam he apparently made at the rapper's expense during his performance of "Suit & Tie" on Saturday Night Live last weekend.
"By the way, the lyrics to 'Suit & Tie,' it felt like to me you changed one of the lyrics," suggested Fallon as a way into addressing the purported beef.
For his part, Timberlake feigned innocence.
"I don't remember that," answered J.T. "Did I change a line? It is live. You know, really, everyone keep calm."
The original line in "Suit & Tie" is "Aww, s--t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit." But in last Saturday's SNL rendition, Timberlake sang in its place, "My hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic."
This in response to West's diss at a concert in London last month when the latter told his audience, "I got love for Hov [Jay-Z], but I ain't f--king with that 'Suit & Tie"—a clear dig at Timberlake given that Jay-Z is featured on his single.
But last night, Justin stayed classy and told the funnyman he bore no grudge.
"Let me say, for the record, I absolutely love Kanye, so there's that," he said. "We love Kanye, right? Did the lyrics change? I don't remember."
Timberlake's first album in seven years, The 20/20 Experience, is now streaming online via iTunes one week before its scheduled March 19 release date.
