Lindsay Lohan has been a very good student, according to her latest progress report.

The director of Right On Programs, with whom Lohan has been attending court-ordered alcohol education classes for a little over a year, filed a report Tuesday stating that the 23-year-old starlet is in "program compliance" at this time.

But she wasn't always such a model pupil.

"In the beginning, she struggled with consistency and punctuality in attending her scheduled activities," wrote program director Cherie Marshall, who noted that Lohan transferred to Right On with about six months of alcohol-ed (out of the required 18) under her belt.

"We returned her case to court for failing to obtain a leave of absence for a work-related trip," Marshall wrote.

But Lohan's Dec. 15 court appearance "made a difference in her sense of responsibility toward her program obligations."

And now, according to Marshall, Lohan shows up on time and lets Right On know when she's going to miss a session.

"Her attitude is positive and receptive to ideas regarding lifestyle changes," Marshall added. "She has never come under the influence, been rude or disrespectful."

Not when it comes to the club scene, but hey, baby steps!

Per the progress report, she has attended 19 of a required 26 group sessions, 24 of 26 interviews, 17 of 26 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and all six required alcohol education classes. But there's a "0" next to the six mandatory community reentry groups.

But all this could still mean squat if Lohan, who touched down in Nice, France, on Sunday to hit up the Cannes Film Festival festivities, doesn't show up for her court date on Thursday. A judge has ordered her to appear and a bench warrant could be issued for her arrest if she doesn't.
