Star Trek Captain Avery Brooks Arrested for DUI

This isn't the way to put one over on the Dominion.
Avery Brooks, best known for playing Commander-turned-Captain Benjamin Sisko on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, was arrested last night in Connecticut on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The 63-year-old actor was picked up after police received a complaint of a person driving erratically nera the intersection of Belden Hill and Seir Hill Road, the Wilton Police Department confirms to E! News.

The Michigan beauty queen who made history two years ago by becoming the first Arab-American crowned Miss USA has since been dealing with some legal woes.
Last year, Rima Fakih faced unflattering headlines when she was arrested for drunk driving in Detroit's Highland Park. And although the brunette beauty had been giving everyone the silent treatment about what the deal was with her DUI charges and upcoming court date, she has now changed her mind and decided to discuss her recent situation with E! News.

Rima Fakih isn't talking, but at least she's no longer in denial.
"Of course she's remorseful," her attorney, W. Otis Culpepper, told reporters today following a hearing on Fakih's DUI case, the former Miss USA's first appearance in court.
Calling his client a woman of "substantial character," Culpepper said that he's prepared to go to trial but anticipates a "proper conclusion" will be reached beforehand.
But what did Fakih, who at first denied being the "Rima Fakih" who was busted for alleged drunk driving in the Detroit area last month, have to say after court?

Underage Hannah Montana Star Mitchel Musso Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

Mitchel Musso isn't copping to anything just yet.
The underage Hannah Montana star formally entered a not guilty plea this morning in his previously delayed arraignment on DUI charges stemming from a bust last October in which officers found his blood-alcohol level to be above 0.08 percent after pulling him over for failing to slow down near an unrelated traffic accident.
The 20-year-old was not present at the Burbank courthouse this morning, though his attorney Blair Berk was and entered the plea on his behalf to Judge Robert Applegate.
If convicted, the former Disney star faces a maximum of six months behind bars and a $1,000 fine. A pretrial status conference on the matter has been set for Feb. 10.

The 20-year-old actor has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, the Burbank city attorney confirms to E! News.
And a conviction carries a possible jail sentence.
