For your preseason pleasure, today we bring you the results of E! Online's annual Fall TV Preview Watch/Pass Poll.

Thousands of TV fans voted on which new television shows they plan to watch, DVR or diss completely. The results offer a clear indication about which shows are winning the buzz race, and which are all but sure to die whimpering deaths in Nielsen's basement. (Hint: Boardwalk Empire is hot $#*!, while $#*! My Dad Says is decidedly not.)

Read on for our official handicaps of what's hot and what's not for the 2010-2011 fall TV season:

HBO's Boardwalk Empire has the best buzz amongst E! Online readers, followed by NBC's The Event and three CBS shows, i.e. warm-fuzzies sitcom Mike & Molly, cop show Blue Bloods (Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg are catnip for the ladies) and remake Hawaii Five-0 (more lady-catnip, plus Grace Park).

New season losers, on the other hand, seem to be sitcoms $#*! My Dad Says and Outsourced; ABC's documentary-style soap about 28-year-olds My Generation; lawyer series Outlaw; and other lawyer series The Defenders. The latter two shows star Jimmy Smits and Jerry O'Connell, respectively, who are both beloved actors as well as notorious pilot-murderers. (Maybe they can go the way of one-time show killer Mark Feuerstein and join the USA Network to finally get a break?)

Falling square in the wait-and-see middle are NBC's Undercovers and Chase; ABC's No Ordinary Family, Detroit 1-8-7 and Better With You; Fox's Raising Hope and Lone Star, and the CW's Hellcats and Nikita (which premiered to not-terrible ratings last week).

Note: There are no Running Wilde results because we plumb forgot to include a poll with that review. We include it below as a remedial measure. Have fun online voting!
