Inside sources and ABC confirm that producers of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice are planning another crossover event.

Anatomy star Chandra Wilson recently made a visit to the Santa Monica-set spinoff show Private Practice, and now Eric Dane and Kate Walsh are set to appear on both Shonda Rhimes shows on the same night.

So why are the old lovers reconnecting? Here's what we're hearing...

According to my frenemy, the crossover begins in the 9 p.m. hour when Addy wings to Seattle to do surgery on Leven Rambin's character. (Could Leven's character be preggo? Otherwise, why would neonatal surgeon Addison be involved?) And then, after complications arise with the patient, McSteamy and Rambin's character travel to Los Angeles in the 10 p.m. hour to seek additional help from Addison.

Aside from the medicine, we're hoping Addy uses this crossover opportunity to comment on how both of her men (McDreamy, McSteamy) seem to find Grey girls irresistible. Is it something in the Seattle water?

Are you excited to see Addy and Mark back together again?
