Today I hit the Grey's Anatomy set, where the likes of Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Caterina Scorsone, Kaydee Strickland, Paul Adelstein and A.J. Langer and others were shooting the big Grey's-Private Practice crossover event, set to air next month on ABC. So what went down? And what fan questions did I get answered?

The ABC drama returns from its winter hiatus tomorrow night and it looks like Lucas' parents are sticking with their break-up, each splitting their time between a hotel and Violet's house in order to make the transition as seamless as possible for their son. Too bad it's not exactly a seamless transition for Pete and Violet.

Audra McDonald has found her way back to paradise.
The Private Practice star is engaged to fellow Broadway veteran Will Swenson after a two-act courtship—they were costars in 2007 but didn't start dating until they reprised their roles in the same show three years later.
"Thanks 4 all of the sweet congrats on our engagement. We're super happy and excited," McDonald tweeted today.

Poor, poor Kate Walsh. Could you imagine having to deal with Taye Diggs and Benjamin Bratt as your love interests? Our hearts sincerely go out to her. It's not like they're insanely attractive or anything.
If there's one thing we know about Shonda Rhimes, it's that she can create one hell of an addictive love triangle, which is exactly what's coming up on Private Practice with Addison Montgomery (Walsh), Sam Bennett (Diggs) and Jake Riley (Bratt.) And from what Walsh tells us, it sounds like it might get a little steamy. "I was in a scene with the both of them and I can't tell you what I was doing, but I was in a compromising position with one of them on each side." Yep, that's it. We're officially jealous.
