With all of the focus on Mrs. Cruise coming on board for the So You Think You Can Dance finale, we thought it would be nice to bring some attention to last night's eliminated duo.

We had the chance to chat with Max Kapitannikov and Ashley Valerio this morning, so click in to find out their reactions on being sent home and what's next for the pair...

Elimination, Shlimination: Both dancers are going home with their heads held high after telling reporters that there is nothing they would have done differently in their final number. "I predicted that I was going to leave," said Max. "I don't think I have any regrets. Kupono [Aweau]'s a good dancer and Jason [Glover]...They deserve to be there." Ashley is on the same page. "I felt like me and Pono performed [our] dance the best that we possibly could. There's always room for improvement, but I think we looked great," explained the dancer. "I really don't have regrets about what we did."

Solo Acts: Ballroom pro Max definitely felt he was at a disadvantage in last night's elimination solo. Said the performer: "It's really difficult for a ballroom dancer to do a solo, for 30 seconds especially. Ashley just wanted to go out there and be true to herself, regardless of the outcome. I don't like to lift my leg up and do a million turns. I really just wanted to be me and do what I do when I do solos—and it was fun."

What's Up Next? Ashley is ready to take on the world after finally making it onto SYTYCD. "I've tried out for the past three years; then the show came along, and it all came together. It was the experience of a lifetime. I couldn't ask for anything more." Ashley continued, "I just want to go out and audition a lot...for anything. I think [my life's] going to change in huge way." Dream job? "I'd like to dance for Justin Timberlake. That'd be the ultimate." Max is a little more low-key about his next move. Said the ballroom dancer, "I'm taking classes and maybe auditioning for other things, but I haven't really thought about it."

"I'm Rooting For...": Ashley can't wait to see her old partner pair up with contestant Kayla Radomski. "Kayla and Kupono are going to be phenomenal together. Pono was a great, great person and a great partner. I think he'll bring out the best in Kayla." Don't expect Max to pick a fave, though. "I'm rooting for everyone. I'm going to keep watching and voting for the one who stands out."

Put Your Sorrys in a Sack: These two are just grateful for the entire SYTYCD experience, particularly Ashley. She raved, "Right now I'm on top of the world because I got to work with two of my favorite choreographers in the world: Wade Robson and Mia Michaels. And they both pushed me past my limit. I feel like a stronger person, a stronger dancer."
