NYC Housewives' Bethenny: Give Me Alex Rodriguez!

The reality star opens up about hooking up with Madonna's former fling, costar Kelly Killeron Bensimon's arrest and who she thinks is way too thin in Hollywood

Bethenny Frankel really doesn't mind the false rumors that she has hooked up with Madonna's former baseball boy-toy Alex Rodriguez. She's actually been hoping he'd try to connect with her.

"I kept thinking he was going to call," Bethenny told us this weekend during an appearance at Fred Segal Fun in Santa Monica for her new book, Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting. "And now I feel like a jilted lover…He won't even make the rumor true."

And yes, the Real Housewives of New York City star thinks she can compete with Madonna. "I'm not as famous as Madonna, but I can do the same yoga poses as she can."

• Bethenny promises a nasty catfight with another Housewife. She declined to say who with, but we're going to assume it's Kelly, who's already gone public about a spat she had with Bethenny. "I get low-down and dirty on someone's ass on the show," Bethenny said. "And I don't really get that crazy with people, but I got a little crazy."

• Does she believe reports that Kelly may have planned her recent arrest for assaulting her boyfriend just to create some publicity? "She likes to be liked, so I can't imagine it," Bethenny said. "But I want them doing my next book tour if they planned that, because that was good. I need to hire them. But I don't think it was staged."

• Fellow Housewife Alex McCord shouldn't expect any sympathy for losing her job. "We're not crying for her," Bethenny said. "We're crying for people who can't feed their kids that are on food stamps."

• She thinks Tori Spelling should read her book. "Tori Spelling looks like there's something wrong with her," Bethenny hissed. "The coloring is off. The wrinkling is off. She looks like a 100-year-old woman in a 30-year-old's body. It's a problem. Be healthy! Men like Rihanna, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian. They're juicy."
