As the Cannes Film Festival kicks off today, the actress' Kung Fu Panda costar Jack Black reveals her sweet under-the-radar gesture back in 2008, when they were promoting the first flick in the animated series...

During a recent interview alongside La Jolie for the Panda sequel—which, BTW, the duo will also be promoting at Cannes again!—the Huffington Post reports Black confessed, "You were preggers, and I spilled the beans." Oh yeah, we remember that oops.

"And my wife, Tanya, was like, 'That is the most amazing maternity dress I've ever seen,' " he continued. "You had this gorgeous gown, and she was less preggers, but she had one on the way as well."

That gown being the stunning green Max Azria Empire-waist dress the now mother of six donned when she was pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne, of course.

"And you're like, 'Oh, thanks.' And then, what do we get in the mail like the next week? That gown," the funnyman recapped. "You sent it over. It was one of the sweetest gifts of all time."

Awww, now that's what we'd call a hand-me-up, not hand-me-down!
