On Sunday's episode of House of DVF, Lenore Genovese was the latest Global Brand Ambassador candidate to be sent home. But she wasn't sent home empty handed!

Diane Von Furstenberg offered Lenore the chance to interview for a sales position! See what Lenore had to say about her experience on the show:

"PINCH ME PLEASE." Those are the three words I always use to describe working for Diane von Furstenberg.  I came into the House of DVF as an underdog, having studied fashion at FIT for one semester before I was chosen to be one of the ten. As much as I was fearful that my lack of experience would make me unfit, I knew that my passion for this industry would surpass any of the most experienced contestants.  I used that as my weapon…

Little did I know, my lack of experience would become my biggest advantage. I was so unbelievably humbled at where I was in every moment of the program, that no person or obstacle was going to take away my happiness. I never took for granted that I was in "The House" of Diane von Furstenberg, someone whom I always admired and inspired to be… a true worldwide fashion mogul.  WOW!

I treated my time here as a "learning" experience, not as the end-all if things didn't work out in my favor. My lack of entitlementprepared me to handle the critiques, and at times, the harshcriticism. I took it as "tough love," a means to grow. If I was getting feedback from DIANE VON FURSTENBERG, both good/bad, than who am I to disagree?

A few years ago, I went through one of the roughest periods of my life, battling anxiety and being my own worst enemy. I questioned who I was and where I belonged in this world. Looking back on this experience, it brings tears to my eyes to see how far I came in my recovery. Here I am, in front of the whole world to judge, and I remained true to who I am, confident, and above all happy. I did it! I really did it!

Diane, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to see my growth and potential.  As you say, "The most important relationship in your life is the relationship you have with yourself," and after my time here, I am pleased to say that I love the woman that I grew to be and I am truly proud of myself.

No, I am not leaving this journey as the DVF Global Brand Ambassador, but I consider myself still leaving a winner. As you all saw, Diane offered me an interview with the Melissa Sussberg, the SVP for Domestic Ready-to-Wear at DVF. Turns out… I GOT THE JOB! Starting this January, I will be a Wholesale Specialist for the company I am most passionate about: DVF. AHH!

I leave this program completely full. Full of opportunity, full of confidence, full of self-esteem, and most importantly, full of happiness! Although I have a lot more to learn, I hope that I have inspired those out there to be patient and embrace the hard times, because sunny days lie ahead. I promise! Thank you again, Diane, Stefani, Jessica, and the entire DVF team, as well as all those involved with filming and production (esp. Chris, Tammy, Lenid), including my lovely competitors, whom I wish nothing but success!! Thank you mom, dad, Vin, and Keith for all that you did and continue to do for me. LOVE YOU ALL!
