On the latest episode of House of DVF, Abigail Petit-Frere was the second Global Brand Ambassador candidate in the episode to be sent home.
She filmed the above video as her depature, the morning after the episode aired. In the video, Abigail thanks multiple people for helping her through her journey, discusses her background in fashion, talks about her next steps and much more. She also revealed what is inside that infamous DVF elimination bag!
One of the most inspiring things Abigail mentions is finally accepting herself for who she is, and not settling for a position where she cannot be her full self.
She explained, "For a long time I tried to fit the mold. I always made sure I made other people happy, for a long time, like whatever someone wanted I kind of tried to make myself be that person." She went on to say, "When you try to be something that you're not, it hurts no one but you, because you are lieing to yourself."
Abigail wraps up her departure video blog by opening the gift that Diane von Furstenberg gave to her upon sending her home from the show. In true Diane style, the gift is inspirational and meaningful.
