There's nothing an edgy celeb loves more than showing a little cleavage on the red carpets. But these fashion forward females show us just how many options there are in the category of plunging necklines—and just how many of those options showcase a little more than a little cleavage...

First we have The Sofia Vergara Slit—a small cut with a big wow factor. The Modern Family maven's figure gets flaunted thanks to the low neck, but everything is held tightly in place thanks to the fact that it isn't any lower. Classy but still va-va-voom.

Next is pop star turned designer Victoria Beckham displaying the casual V-neck for Victoria. This slouchy style is like the fashion version of a Burlesque show—it's more about what you're not seeing than what you are... We recommend this version for those who like to keep the crowds guessing.

Of course, nothing compares to the infamous J.Lo Low Neckline. Jennifer Lopez showed up in Versace's red carpet version of a beach cover-up at the 2000 Grammy's and forever set the standard for "how low can you go?" Her answer: bellow the belly button. Though we think, "how low should you go?" is the more important question. Our answer: not this low.

And finally, the Tastefully Tay-lored Take. Leave it to the "Trouble" singer to offer the most sensible front slit of the all. Taylor Swift's KaufmanFranco frock is incredibly sophisticated despite that giant rectangular skin patch showing. She may be younger and more innocent but she looks older and wiser than most plunging neckline proponents in this successful style.
