Smash First Look: See What All the Buzz Is About!
We have a very good feeling that once Smash premieres, people will be as obsessed with it as we are. We've seen the first two episodes, and we're already completely in love with the NBC series based on the making of a Broadway musical.
In this first look at the season premiere (Feb. 6), stars Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty will rock your world with some musical numbers, while Debra Messing and Christian Borle get the light bulb idea of a lifetime…
The Voice Coaches Throw Jabs at the Music Industry and Defend Success of Season-One Finalists
One thing The Voice definitely has going for it? It's colorful group of coaches that are not afraid to speak their minds.
Not only did Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton talk about season two's big talent, they made a big statement about the current (bleak) condition of the record industry and how The Voice fits into the big picture…
Battle of Network Musicals? NBC's Smash "Grateful" to Glee for Paving the Road to Broadway
Singing, dancing, rivalry…on paper, is NBC's midseason musical Smash just a Glee knockoff?
Don't toss your slushies, Gleeks, because the two shows are as different as New Directions and Vocal Adrenaline.
Smash, premiering Feb. 6 on the Peacock net (NBC and E! are both part of the NBCUniversal family), takes us behind the scenes of the Broadway theater, as two very different starlets (Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty) vie for the lead role in a Marilyn Monroe musical. Smash's huge ensemble cast—including Debra Messing as Marilyn's cowriter—gathered at the TCA Winter Press Tour to showcase their spectacular new drama.
And despite the great divide between the two shows, the creative forces behind Smash sing the praises of Glee creator Ryan Murphy for paving the way for TV musicals...
Community's Troy & Abed Rap to Save Christmas! Plus, Parks & Rec's April Kills the Black Eyed Peas
Sorry, Justin Bieber. You've just been out Christmas song'd by Community's Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi)!
If you loved Greendale's best besties' Spanish rap in season one, you do not want to miss tonight's Christmas episode, which also happens to be the comedy's last episode before a very long hiatus (we're still giving you the stink-eye, NBC!). And what holiday season isn't complete without a painting depicting the murder of the Black Eyed Peas? A Parks & Recreation holiday season, that's what!
A Fire Alarm Won't Budge Brian Williams From Reporting the News
And that's because he's what you would call a professional.
NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams was delivering a story about American Airlines filing for bankruptcy on last night's broadcast when he was rudely interrupted by a fire alarm! (Don't worry, it was just a drill.)
"You'll forgive us, we have a fire alarm announcement going on here in the studio," he told the audience.
New Series Sneak: Katharine McPhee's "Beautiful" Smash Video
Talk about a beautiful way to begin! Take a gander at the recently released music video for upcoming NBC series Smash, featuring Katharine McPhee's version of Christina Aguilera's hit "Beautiful."
On top of McPhee's shimmering rendition of the song, the video also includes sneak peeks of the series, which is a backstage look at a Broadway musical about Marilyn Monroe.
So is the former Idol star cast as the idol herself?
Alpaca Underpants? NBC's Brian Williams and Nick Offerman Offer Hilarious Tips on Going Green
Whether you're an anchor on the NBC Nightly News or a government-hating department head on Parks and Recreation, Green Week is something close to your heart.
Just take Brian Williams and Nick Offerman, for example.
Each of them took the time to sit-down and explain why being friendly to Mother Earth is so important, and the different ways they stay green—even if it's a little unusual—in the latest Talking Green Behind the Scenes.
Watch Now: Community, Parks and Rec and The Office Halloween Previews!
If we trust anybody to do a Halloween episode justice, it's NBC's Community, Parks and Rec and The Office. And based on these clips from tonight's lineup, we will not be disappointed.
Jeff and Annie fans are in for a treat in the Community clip, plus Ben has a big ol' stick up his butt about a Halloween party on Parks and Rec. And why does Robert California bring Kelly nearly to tears?

Would Amy Poehler Ever Guest Star on Up All Night? TV Gods, Make It So!
Peanut butter and jelly. Oreos and milk. Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. Some things are just meant to be enjoyed together. (And now we're hungry.)
Sure, the funny married couple are both on hit NBC shows, but that's not enough Amy and Will goodness for us. And since Will has guested on Parks and Recreation before, it's only natural to assume that Amy could possibly pop over to the newly picked up Up All Night. But would that ever happen?
Plus, Adam Scott and Amy help predict the future for Ben and Leslie…

Bethenny Frankel's Real-Life Nightmare: Lost at Sea, Rescued by Coast Guard
If we didn't know any better, we would have thought Bethenny Frankel was competing on the new season of Survivor.
The reality star and her husband, Jason Hoppy, were lost at sea this weekend.
We kid you not...
