"I love long johns," the 36-year-old daddy of four said with a smile yesterday at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, where he was holding court at a launch event for his new men's fragrance, Homme.

He's quite serious.

He loves them so much that he sometimes wears them to bed. "You'll see," he teased. "It's great. Everything is done and ready to go and will be out on Valentine's Day."

Awww.

Wifey Victoria may not be officially involved, but no matter. "Obviously she plays a huge role in everything," Beckham said. "It's always important to get the female perspective on almost everything. To have her expertise is always a good thing."

As for the new scent, Beckham said he "loves" wearing it. "It's very personal to me," he said. "It always has to be something I like to wear."

David Beckham in nothing but a pair of long johns and smelling oh so good? Victoria is one very lucky lady.
