Mickshaw / FOXDay two of The X Factor auditions is in full swing!
As we told you yesterday, new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato settled into their seats next to Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid without any hiccups (no, Spears didn't storm off the stage!).
"I am having the most incredible time and love being able to sit next to Simon at the judging table," Spears exclusively tells E!. "The talent has been tremendous."
So, is the second day of auditions in Austin going as smoothly as the first?
Before we get to that, we've gotta tell you what Spears' fiancé Jason Trawick gave her last night...
After yesterday's long day, the 30-year-old pop star went back to her hotel to relax for day two of auditions. Spears and Trawick enjoyed dinner before they ended the night with Trawick giving his gal—get ready for it!—a foot massage, according to a source.
What a guy!
As for today, according to a fan on Twitter, at one point during today's round of auditions a contestant teased BritBrit by announcing, "I work at Britney's favorite coffee shop!" The crowd replied, "Starbucks!" which caused the coffee-loving songstress to smile and laugh.
Spears, dressed in the same dress as yesterday for taping continuity, wasn't amused by every one of today's hopefuls, however. Another audience member tweeted, "Britney: 'i wanna know who [let] u on stage, i feel uncomfortable with you looking at me.'"
Ouch!
"@britneyspears is doing really good at today's auditions!" another audience member tweeted.
Sounds like Spears may have taken Paula Abdul's X Factor advice to "speak your mind."
