Seal Emerges in Wake of Heidi Klum Split—but Is He Still Wearing His Wedding Ring?

Seal and Heidi Klum may have said auf wiedersehen to their marriage, but the show must go on.

And that's just what it did over the weekend, when the singer continued to make the promotional rounds in the U.K. for his new album, Soul 2, just as word was breaking that his seven-year union to the supermodel was over.

Inevitably, paparazzi caught him on his return trip back to the States...with what certainly appeared to be a rather curious item of jewelry still perched on that finger.

Though it's unclear if Seal was in fact still wearing his wedding ring as he touched down at Los Angeles' LAX Airport, photographers were able to catch a glimpse of something bright and shiny on his band finger.

In any case, eagle-eyed fans will have ample time to check it out in person, as the singer leaves next month on a possibly not-so-ill-timed tour of Australia starting Feb. 9.

In the meantime, neither Heidi nor Seal have made any further comment on their split, other than the original, detail-free statement in which they admitted they have "grown apart," are "amicably separating" and the requisite requesting of their privacy. (Best of luck with that last one.)

However, though the couple has split, neither has yet formally filed for divorce. So technically, there's still hope, romance fans. But don't go betting on it.
