The good news is Kanye West isn't alone.
E! News confirmed that the rapper had been hospitalized Monday in L.A. for exhaustion, just hours after he canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour. Several stars and industry professionals sent messages of support via Twitter, including Janelle Monáe and Emile Hirsch.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call in the West Hollywood area at 1:20 p.m., but the encounter became a "medical emergency" and was the Los Angeles Fire Department took over. West was then taken willingly to U.C.L.A. Medical Center for evaluation. Details regarding West's condition are unknown. But, a source told E! News, "He is exhausted."
In light of his hospitalization, West's Steve McQueen-directed "All Day/I Feel Like That" video resurfaced. "Do you experience nervousness or shakiness inside, faintness and dizziness? / The idea that someone else can control your thoughts / Feeling others are to blame for most of your thoughts / Trouble remembering things, feeling easily annoyed and irritated / Feeling afraid in open spaces or in public / Thoughts of ending your life / Feeling that most people could not be trusted / Poor appetite, heart or chest pains?" he raps. "Do you feel tempered outbursts, that you cannot control? / Feeling lonely, even when you are with people, feeling blocked / Feeling blue, sad, feeling disinterested in things, feeling fearful / Are your feelings easily hurt? / Feeling that people are unfriendly, or do you feel like people dislike you?"
West's lyrics are interspersed with the chorus line: "I feel like that all the time."
The rapper's family has yet to publicly address his hospitalization.
West has been working at a breakneck pace throughout 2016. In addition to releasing a new album in February, he presented two fashion collections and performed more than 30 shows during the first North American leg of his world tour, which ran from August through October.
