Toni Braxton is putting a short pause on her performance schedule after experiencing some health complications.

As the "Un-Break My Heart" singer continues traveling across the country in support of "The Hits" tour, fans learned Saturday afternoon that tonight's show would have to be postponed.

"Toni Braxton was hospitalized this afternoon in Cleveland due to complications with her Lupus," the singer's Twitter read. "Unfortunately her show tonight in Cleveland will need to be postponed."

The statement continued, "Lupus needs to be constantly monitored and this minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour. Tickets for tonight's show will be honored at the re-scheduled date that will be announced shortly."

The announcement comes shortly after Toni performed in Kansas City Friday evening where Birdman made a special appearance to close the show.

Ultimately, this isn't the first time Toni has experienced a minor health scare. Earlier this month, a rep for the singer confirmed to E! News that the performer recently spent time in a Los Angeles hospital while being treated for her Lupus. Fortunately, she was able to start rehearsals for her upcoming tour soon after.

"I am so excited about going back on the road and seeing all of my wonderful fans and friends," Toni said in a statement to E! News.  "Everyone's life is complicated and this is just a condition that I live with."

Ever since revealing her condition in 2010, the "He Wasn't Man Enough" singer has been open and honest with fans. In fact, she once admitted that taking the stage when she's not feeling her best is one of her most difficult tasks.

"That's the toughest part, when I have to perform," she explained to Huffington Post back in 2015. "So often, when it's like that, it's a lot of, 'You sing!' to the audience, you know. They kind of help me out a little bit without realizing it."

She added, "Even if I can't perform, I still figure it out. Sometimes I look back [at] that evening [and] I go, 'How did I get through that?'"
