Toni Braxton was hospitalized for a few days recently, but she has since been released and is doing fine.

A rep for the singer tells E! News, "Toni is resting at home and she is fine. She was in an L.A. hospital for a few days, being treated for her Lupus. She has been released and starts rehearsals for her upcoming tour this week."

The rep added, "She was not in serious condition, though Lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times."

Meanwhile, Braxton first revealed she was battling the autoimmune disease in 2010.

In 2015, she opened up about living with lupus during an interview with Huffington Post

"Some days I can't balance it all. I just have to lay in bed," she said. "Pretty much when you have lupus you feel like you have the flu every day. But some days you get through it. But for me, if I'm not feeling well, I tend to tell my kids, 'Oh mommy's just going to relax in bed today.' I kind of take it easy."

However, when she has work, she said she has to fight through the sickness. "That's the toughest part, when I have to perform," she explained. "So often, when it's like that, it's a lot of, 'You sing!' to the audience, you know. They kind of help me out a little bit without realizing it."

Still, she has yet to cancel a show. "I've never done that. Even if I can't perform, I still figure it out," she told HuffPo. "Sometimes I look back [at] that evening [and] I go, 'How did I get through that?'"

We're glad to hear she's doing OK now!
