There are two sides to every story, but when it comes to Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian's feud, there are not only two sides but also two teams.

Kim released the footage of Kanye West calling Taylor to talk about lyrics to "Famous" Sunday night, and since then celebrities have been both overtly and subtly sharing on social media whether they're #TeamKim or #TeamTaylor. Friends, fans and even morning talk show hosts couldn't help but weigh in on the feud, with the ladies of The View and the hosts of the Today show speaking out on the escalating drama Monday morning.

For the most part, it appeared that The View co-hosts were on Kim's side, with Whoopi Goldberg really wanting nothing to do with any of it. Co-host Sunny Hostin gave kudos to Kanye for bothering to call the "Style" songstress at all.

"I think you have to give him a little bit of credit for that, and [Taylor] didn't give him credit," Hostin shared. "And what I also would like to say is that I am very impressed that Kim Kardashian stuck up for her man like that. I really dug that."

Guest panelist Jedediah Bila also came out in favor of Kim, saying that Taylor must have seen an "opportunity" and pounced on it. "I don't buy the story that she was so insulted by that one line. I think she saw an opportunity to be victimized here and she thought everybody was going to get on her side," she said. "She was going to become the face of feminism this year."

Although the feud intensified Sunday night—not only because of Kim's Snapchat reveal but also because of Taylor's response—co-host Joy Behar brought it back into perspective. "Doesn't this country have enough unrest? Do we have to have Taylor and Kanye fighting, too?" Behar joked.

Despite a mostly unified opinion on The View, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb had a different view on Today. "It's all kind of yucky," said Hoda of the video, which Taylor said she didn't know existed. But Taylor was aware of the video, as she sent Kim and Kanye a legal notice months ago, according to Kim's GQ profile and a report by TMZ

"Does it make the world a better place in anyway by either the song or the video? Look what's going on in our world today, and this is the kind of stuff we're talking about," Gifford shared. "It almost feels dirty just talking about it. It's so self-centered and egocentric. All of it."
