Belle is ready to walk down the aisle...in real life.
Emilie de Ravin, who plays the Beauty and the Beast character on ABC's Once Upon A Time, recently got engaged to boyfriend Eric Bilitch. The two announced the news Thursday, more than four months after they welcomed their first child, daughter Vera. Both posted a photo of the 34-year-old Australian actress wearing a square cushion-cut diamond eternity engagement ring.
"So excited!!! I love you @ericbilitch," de Ravin wrote.
So let's talk wedding planning, shall we? What better place to draw inspiration for a truly fairy tale wedding than Once Upon a Time?
So get ready to add to your Pinterest boards...here are five ideas for the actress (and you):
1. A wedding dress fit for a princess bride, of course: While Belle isn't royalty, who says Emilie de Ravin can't be on her big day ?
Check out co-star Ginnifer Goodwin's strapless, ivory, draped chiffon gown with a sheer overlay and jeweled sash, which she wore while portraying her Once Upon a Time character Snow White in a promo shoot for the show three years ago.
Jennifer Morrison (Snow's daughter Emma Swan) also wore a stunning wedding dress-inspired number in this father-daughter dance scene with Josh Dallas (Prince Charming).
Get creative, get edgy—who can forget Snow's feathered wedding dress in the Once Upon a Time pilot?
And no one said the bride has to wear white, either. Obviously, there's Belle's stunning yellow ball gown.
And here's Morrison in a gorgeous lavender gown with a jeweled bodice. Stunning.
How about something all blue? Ashley Boyd's Cinderella dress may inspire you.
2. Location, location, location: Sure, you could get married in a castle (see Snow & Prince Charming's wedding, above).
Or maybe you want to leave the castles to Ciara and Russell Wilson—how about a beautiful outdoor wedding in a forest or a garden, full of natural light? Nature.
3. Keep it natural: Call it Princess Rustic Chic. We're talking flowers, flowers everywhere. To have and to hold, to see and to wear. Truly picturesque.
4. The ultimate guest book: Amirite?
5. Let them eat cake: Check out these wedding cakes, also fit for a princess:
