Two days after Chelsea Clinton welcomed a son into the world, the former First Daughter stepped out of a New York City hospital where her family couldn't help but show how excited they were at their newest bundle of joy.
As cameras flashed outside, proud dad Marc Mezvinsky placed his right arm on his heart as Chelsea held their newborn. As for grandparents Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton, they were also all smiles as they stood close to the couple.
"What a joy being with our new grandson, Aidan. So grateful," the proud grandma wrote on Twitter this weekend. Bill added, "Aidan has made two dads very happy this Father's Day. Hillary and I are thrilled for Marc and Chelsea!"
The latest family photo quickly took some pop culture fans back to when Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their children.
After delivering Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the couple would pose for photos on the steps of their London hospital before taking their child home. And yes, both Kate and Chelsea looked beautiful just days after delivering a newborn.
Recently, Chelsea opened up to E! News about how motherhood has changed her life. While it took some time to get used to balancing work, parenting, breastfeeding and more, the proud mom ultimately got into the hang of things.
"I figured it out, but it took a while to figure it out," she admitted to E! News' Maria Menounos. "It also just took lots of, like...it's swallowing my pride and being comfortable with pumping in airport bathrooms and kind of wherever I needed to get it done."
She continued, "I wish there sort of been a guidebook on how do you think about this really, and how do you make this work? I'm guessing recognizing maybe every woman has to figure it out for themselves [is the secret], because each of our situations and decisions are different."
