We see love!

Mike & Molly came to an end after six seasons of love and laugh on Monday, May 16, with a series finale fittingly titled "I See Love." Yes, that means we no longer get our weekly dose of Melissa McCarthy's awesomeness on TV each and every week. Boo! Hiss! But let's not dwell on that and focus our attention on this delightfully upbeat series ender. (Warning, spoilers ahead!)

The finale began with Mike (Billy Gardell) and Molly preparing to welcome their first child in three weeks, even though they were having issues getting their car seat buckled in. Too bad the baby came early...and Mike found out Carl (Reno Wilson) and Victoria (Katy Mixon) are hooking up...again. Talk about an awkward car ride to the hospital!

And as the gang waited for M and M's surrogate to give birth, they reflected on how they got to this point (aside from their moms almost coming to blows over where the couple should live). Mike thanks Carl for being there every step of the way during their relationship. "I could not ask for a better friend, or a better partner," before asking him to be the godfather of their baby. Awww! "I love you, Carl," Mike says, to which Carl pulls a Han Solo: "I know."

Next, Molly shares a sweet moment with her sister Victoria, expressing her anxiety over becoming a mother for the first time. "if it ever gets too much, I'm going to be there for you...except weekends and mornings," Victoria says. Awww again! Oh, and of course, Molly later asks Victoria to be the godmother.

But then it was time for the baby's arrival (which happens to be on Samuel's birthday!): William Michael Biggs, with the entire group being introduced to him at the same time. And then Molly dropped a bombshell: She reveals to everyone that she's pregnant, with a second baby on the way. She cried. Mike cried. Everyone cried. We cried.

The episode ended with Mike and Molly singing their baby to sleep with the show's theme song, "I See Love." Yep, we all saw love.

And fun fact: Iconic Emmy Award winning director James Burrows, who directed the first two seasons of the series, directed the final outing.
