Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry hosted President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama for dinner at Kensington Palace, where the U.S. leader and First Lady got to meet little Prince George! The group was also joined by William's brother Prince Harry, one of several other members of the royal family also lives in the property.

The royal couple greeted the Obamas with a handshake outside the palace, amid light rain.

"Sorry about the weather," William said.

Once inside, the Obamas spotted the little prince.

"Oh look at you," the president told George before the door was shut, CNN reported.

In photos released by the palace after the meeting Friday, the president, Michelle and William are seen crouching down to talk eye-level to the 2-year-old future king, the third in line to the British throne, as Kate stands and observes. George looked adorable in a white and blue trimmed robe, gray checkered pajama pants and navy velvet slippers embroidered with red biplanes.

Another pic shows George sitting on a rocking horse, a gift the Obamas gave to the little prince for his first birthday, as his parents and the president look at him.

In a third pic, George continues to play as Kate crouches in front of him. The president stands nearby and chats with William and Michelle speaks with Harry.

Kate and William's second and youngest child, Princess Charlotte, who turns 1 next month, was asleep in her bed during their visit. A Kensington Palace official told CNN George was allowed to stay up 15 minutes past his bedtime to greet the Obamas.

During their visit, the president and First Lady were also greeted by a somewhat familiar sight: another past gift they had given George—a plush Portuguese Water Dog, the breed of their dogs Bo and Sunny.

The couple had previously met Kate and William in 2011 in Buckingham Palace, just after they were married, and in 2014, when the royal couple visited the United States. Michelle had chatted with Harry during a royal visit to the U.S. last October.

Earlier in the day, the Obamas had lunch with William and Harry's grandmother and reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, and grandfather Prince Philip at Windsor Castle outside of London.

The president is visiting the U.K. for three days. During his trip, he is set to also speak about the June 23 EU referendum, in which voters will decide whether Britain should leave or remain in the European Union, and meet with Prime Minister David Cameron.
