The details surrounding Chyna's death continue to be a mystery, but E! News learns the late WWE star was prescribed various medication prior to her untimely death.

According to her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, the late wrestling icon (real name Joanie Laurer) was taking prescription drugs, including sleeping medication and medication for anxiety. However, he made sure to note that they were legally prescribed by a doctor and pharmacists.

The coroner's office is investigating all aspects of the time and cause of death.

Although Chyna herself said she was in a "good place" prior to her passing, Anzaldo tells E! News she was also very "emotional."

"It's been very emotional for her these past few months. She was shooting her documentary and at times it was stressful. But she was doing OK. She was doing yoga and a lot of amazing things."

On Sunday, just a few days before she was found dead, Chyna shared a strange and slightly ominous video.

Though she continues to express how "lucky" she feels, there's a palpable sadness in her tone and facial expressions. She slurs her words as she makes a smoothie, stringing together little tangents throughout the 13-minute video.

She then spent the following day sharing a collection of old photos, reminiscing on memories with her different pals from WWE and saying how much she misses everyone.

An official statement was released on her Twitter account last night that read: "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer, AKA Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

Anzaldo tells E! News a memorial will be planned in Los Angeles, but the date is yet to be determined. It will be a "big, big, big deal. Pulling out all the stops," according to her manager, and will be open to family, friends and fans.
