InstagramChrissy Teigen and John Legend finally welcomed their baby girl, Luna Simone Stephens, into the world on Sunday, and while we didn't think it's possible to be jealous of a one-day-old child, we totally are.
You see, pretty much everything Chrissy does makes her the perfect mother in our eyes. From her sense of humor to her sense of style, her witty Twitter posts to her obsession with fast food, we can't help but be a little envious that Luna will be raised by such a cool mom (cue Amy Poehler's line in Mean Girls).
In fact, here are 19 more reasons we wish Chrissy was our own mother. Enjoy:
1. She's a Mean Chef: First and foremost is the obvious fact that Chrissy is one hell of a cook. From oozing grilled cheeses to fish filet to steaks and mac 'n cheese and everything in between, the woman is skilled. Can you imagine the after-school snacks she'd prepare? Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
2. She Won't Hide Her Pride: We all saw the face she made after John Legend won Best Original Song at the 2015 Golden Globes, but she could care less what she looked like. She was just so proud of her man, and we know that will extend to new levels with her children, too.
3. She's Nurturing: Adopting and taking care of a handful of dogs, it's obvious Chrissy is a nurturer. She even lets all her pups sleep with her!
4. She'll Always Bring Home Your Favorite Things From the Grocery Store: Along with being a chef, Chrissy also knows the importance of a good snack. She's known to like everything from cup-o-noodles to easy cheese, candy, flavored lays and everything in between. We'd never come home to an empty pantry, that's for sure.
5. She'll Teach You Dirty Jokes: She's one of the funniest ladies in the industry, and we're positive that sense of humor will quickly transcend to her children. She probably won't even get mad at any bathroom jokes!
6. She'll Let You Eat Fast Food: From Taco Bell to McDonalds, Jack in the Box to Shake Shack, the super model has never been afraid to show off her love for fast food. She definitely won't stop her kids from getting in on the deliciousness either!
7. And She Won't Body Shame You for It: The model has always been supportive of a positive body image. She's even shown people her stretch marks and taken photos without makeup on to prove that—despite how perfect she may appear in our eyes or on magazine covers—she's got flaws, too! As a mother, we're sure she'll continue to encourage a positive body image for her daughter.
8. She Knows How to Have a Good Time: Chrissy has always been cool admitting that she enjoys an adult beverage from time to time. She also throws some pretty cool soirees and dinner parties, which means she'll definitely make sure her kids' birthday parties are always the most fun.
9. But She Also Knows How to Kick Back and Relax: After a long week, there's nothing better than just enjoying a little R&R from time to time. Chrissy and John know how to do it right: ordering take out and eating in bed with their pups. They won't be the type of parents who are always forcing their kids to go and go and go.
10. She'll Buy You Cool Toys (Because She Likes Them, Too): From Easy Bake Ovens to Nerf guns, Chrissy really enjoys a solid toy. As a mother, she'll definitely make sure her kids have the coolest things.
11. She'll Probably Let You Drink Milk From the Carton: Sometimes you just need to do it, and she gets it.
12. She Doesn't Take Life Too Seriously: It's important to have parents who can laugh at themselves (and at their kids occasionally, too). She's definitely the type of mom who would make us smile when we're feeling down, but also laugh at us when we fall off our bikes. Hey, it builds character!
13. She Knows Cool Beauty Tips and Tricks: If you get a pimple the day before a school dance, Chrissy is totally the type of mom who would know what to do about it.
14. She Has Cool Friends: Not only does Luna get to call Chrissy Teigen and John Legend her parents, she also gets to refer to people like Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as her faux aunts and uncles.

She'll Make You Do Embarrassing Things You'll Laugh at Later in Life: If the way Chrissy treats her dogs is any indication of how she'll be as a mother, her kids are certainly bound for some embarrassing moments. But those are always the best! That way, later in life when their looking through scrapbooks and photo albums, they'll laugh (and probably Instagram) all the cute things she made them do.
16. She'll Definitely Let You Bring That Dog Home: She's such an animal lover, Chrissy will totally be the mom who allows her kids to bring home five hamsters, three gold fish, a frog, two cats and six dogs. Her and John should probably just move to a farm right now.

19. She's Protective: As we've seen on Twitter time and time again, Chrissy will stand up for her family and friends when people are pushing them down. In January 2015, she put Katie Cassidy in her place after blasting Erin Andrews.
