Chris Rock is making a few last-minute revisions.

With the start of 2016 Oscars ceremony fast approaching, the comedian took to Twitter to show how he is preparing for his anticipated hosting gig this evening.

"Cutting the fat off my monologue #oscars," he tweeted, alongside the photo of him reviewing his opening address.

There has been much speculation in recent weeks about how the actor will address the #OscarsSoWhite controversy at this year's Academy Awards. In January, Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs told the Hollywood Reporter she expects Rock will definitely "go there" in his monologue.

"We know who he is," she added. "He is a brilliant, brilliant, observant comedian and performer, and he is a brilliant host. And yes, we want him to, obviously, because way before this, our selection of Chris was to bring some edge and some fun and some funny—intelligent funny—to the telecast. So we know he's going to do that."

And, fortunately we won't have to wait very long to find out!
