Janet Jackson has resurfaced after falling ill in December and postponing her Unbreakable Tour.
The Grammy winner was photographed for the first time since she announced that she would be going in for a mystery surgery. She appeared to be in good spirits as she left London's Lazarides Art Gallery with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, wearing a chic black-on-black ensemble that she accessorized with a fur coat and a white scarf.
Meanwhile, the singer was forced to postpone her highly-anticipated tour (which was scheduled to begin Jan. 9) after receiving word that she had to undergo surgery.
She broke the news to fans on social media on Christmas Eve, tweeting, "I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon," she began. "It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your ticket. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced."
The updated schedule was released on Jan. 14, and Janet will kick things off on March 30 at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.
While we still don't know what surgery the singer had to undergo, one thing is for sure: it was not cancer. Early last month, Jackson posted a new song on her Twitter account with the following lyrics: "Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering."
We're glad to see she's doing better!
