Edgar, get out the Bloody Mary bar, it's time to celebrate. You're the Worst has been renewed for a third season set to debut on FXX in the summer of 2016.

The critically-acclaimed comedy also comes with a new deal for creator and executive producer Stephen Falk.

"Stephen is one of the best new talents in comedy—as funny, thoughtful and original as You're the Worst and we can't wait to see what he comes up with next," Nick Grad, one of the presidents of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, said in a statement. "You're the Worst, already one of the most critically-acclaimed comedies on television, is also one of the most innovative, something Stephen and the cast will continue in the much-deserved third season. The daring turn this season, led by the honest and respectful portrayal of Gretchen's depression, was a very courageous move for a comedy and another milestone for You're the Worst."

A recent episode received under 500,000 viewers and that includes DVR viewers three days after initial air.

The beloved comedy stars Chris Geere as Jimmy, a struggling author who meets and falls in love with Gretchen (Aya Cash), a fellow misanthrope. Kether Donohue, who can next be seen in Fox's Grease Live, plays Lindsay, Gretchen's best friend who is going through a divorce and looking for a purpose, and Demis Borges and Edgar, Jimmy's roommate, a veteran who finds enjoyment in improv comedy.

Spoiler alert: the show is really good.

You're the Worst airs Wednesdays, 10:30 p.m. on FXX.
